2010 Maintenance needs ... who is ready to volunteer?
It's really dangerous to let me spend several days up here by myself (well, me and Bailiff, trusty canine companion). There are some things that need doing that I'm sure somebody has a talent for. I'll just list some things and then let's see who's ready to volunteer ....
- Repainting the entrance sign -- a little sanding, some brown paint and yellow (sort of an ochre) and it'll look as good as new.
- Getting a new diving board and mounting it -- needs to be able to be removed at the end of the season and stored.
- Carpentry: the dining hall has serious siding issues. Might take more, but at a minimum a lot of wood needs to be replaced and painted.
- Road and Trail cleaning. The entrance road and logging roads all are littered to one degree or another. A pair of gloves, a heavy trash sack and some gumption is all you need.
