1. Log into the site. You must do this first. Be sure you can now see your username in the left column.

2. Look in left menu under "Quik Nav" for "create content"

3. Click on "Blog entry"

4. Give it a title.

5. Write some text

6. Select one or more of the "Main Topics" if you wish ... it's optional. Forget the "Files" selection. There now are "tags" you can enter, separate by commas. Tags are sort of like index entries for cataloging the entry. Try to limit to 1-3 tags.

7. Click the Preview button.

8. Preview and edit as necessary.

9. If you want to make your entry viewable only by family, look for this "group audience" selection. Click "Family Group" to limit the item to be viewable by ONLY registered members on this site. If you are on the Board, you will also see the Exec. Board Group choice as well.

10. Click the submit button or preview again.

I know, it's 10 steps if you really break it down -- but it's far FAR easier than that. gil
